TEGLA LOROUPE PEACE FOUNDATION

Apart from the construction of the Tegla Loroupe Peace Academy , the Foundation involves itself in;
Supporting and Strengthening existing schools.
To this end the Foundation is assisting rural schools in the pastoralists area of the Greater Horn of Africa Region with learning materials for example books, pens, chalks and desks.
As a way of promoting ICT's also the Foundation donates computers to this target schools. Inoder to enhance output, the Foundation also trains teachers on how to effectively use these resources.


Scholarships and Bursaries
The Foundation also in collaboration with other Partners assists children who have excelled from the Greater Horn of Africa to secure scholarships for further studies both locally and abroad.
Currently, the Foundation is supporting three children through local universities to pursue higher education.
The Foundation in collaboration with Deacons(K)Ltd is paying school fees through secondary education of two girls from West Pokot District.
